Shore Drive

Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Shore Drive is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This part of the municipality is particularly car friendly. The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, this part of the municipality is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically around the corner. This part of Halifax is not particularly appropriate for cycling since there are a limited number of bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of elevation changes. Traveling on foot is also not very common in Shore Drive, despite the fact that running common errands is easy without the use of a vehicle.

Services

A supermarket is typically accessible within a short walk from any location in Shore Drive. Moreover, a coffee shop is often just around the corner. When it comes to education, it is a reasonably short distance to access daycares and high schools from anywhere in Shore Drive. In contrast, this part of the municipality does not have any primary schools.

Shore Drive offers a great variety of green spaces to enjoy. It is easy to get to public green spaces since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in. Due to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets, this part of the municipality remains relatively serene.

This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes.
