Transportation

Purcell's Cove is an extremely convenient part of Halifax for moving around by car. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be challenging in this part of the municipality due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. It is very impractical for pedestrians to move around in Purcell's Cove since almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Purcell's Cove. In addition, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away.
