Transportation

Port Wallace is especially car friendly. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in this part of Halifax, and it is very easy to access a place to park. On the other hand, Port Wallace is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a fairly good means of transportation in Port Wallace. A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot since few common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle.

Services

It is rarely feasible for property owners in Port Wallace to reach the nearest grocery store by walking. Nevertheless, getting to the nearest pharmacy and thus some staple foods is usually easy. A small variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. With regards to education, parents and their schoolchildren will welcome the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in this part of Halifax. On the other hand, Port Wallace does not have any high schools.

Character

The character of Port Wallace is exemplified by its relaxed environment.
