The community of Oldham is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured mode of transportation in Oldham. Parking is easy. Oldham is not very well-suited for pedestrians because running common errands is very challenging without the use of a vehicle. Biking is also very hard in this community as this part of Halifax is home to quite poor cycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of elevation changes.
