Magazine Hill is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great mode of transportation in this neighbourhood. It is very easy to park. In contrast, this part of the municipality is not very transit friendly. Many of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very convenient for those who like to get around as pedestrians because very few daily errands can be run without a car. It is also challenging to commute by bike in this neighbourhood as there is a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is not very comprehensive.

Services

Magazine Hill does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long trip away. Concerning food, property owners in Magazine Hill usually have to turn to a car to do groceries.
