The community of Long Lake is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred method to navigate Long Lake is usually a car. It is very easy to come across a parking spot. It is very impractical for pedestrians to navigate this part of the municipality as carrying out daily needs is practically impossible without a car. This community is also not very bicycling-friendly as there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

Services

This part of Halifax does not have any high schools or primary schools. When it comes to food, it is very rarely feasible for home buyers in this community to travel to the closest supermarket as pedestrians.
