Transportation

The favoured transportation option in this community is very often driving. It is very convenient to park. This area is not very conducive to cycling as there are a good number of hills to challenge cyclists, and there are very few bike lanes. It is also very inconvenient for pedestrians to move around in this part of the municipality because most daily needs are almost impossible to meet without a car.

Services

This part of Halifax does not have any high schools or primary schools. With respect to eating, purchasing one's groceries usually requires the use of a vehicle in this part of the municipality.

Character

Jacket Lake is a wonderful community to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. The noise levels in Jacket Lake are especially low, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Green spaces aren't well-distributed, resulting in them being very difficult to get to from most locations in this part of Halifax.

Housing
