Transportation

Cars are a reasonably good medium of transportation in Greystone. Finding a place to park is easy. However, the public transit system in this part of the municipality is not very convenient. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Greystone is appropriate for biking. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very suitable for those who travel by foot since running daily errands is impractical.

Services

It is challenging to reach the nearest supermarket on foot in Greystone. In terms of education, families will find that no matter where their property is situated in this part of Halifax, both primary and secondary schools are close by. On the other hand, parents and their children may consider it very hard to access daycares on foot.

Character

Greystone is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. This part of the municipality is very quiet, as the streets tend to be very tranquil. Lastly, the majority of locations in the neighbourhood have fairly good access to green spaces, including Rockingstone Heights School Park, since there are a few of them close by for residents to discover.
