The community of Glen Margaret is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Glen Margaret is an extraordinarily good part of Halifax for getting around by car. Accessing a place to park is generally easy. This part of Halifax is not very amenable to bicycling because the cycling network is not very well-developed, and riding is made strenuous by the often hilly topography.
