The community of Chaplin can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the best transportation option in this area. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy. Even though a few pleasant sectors for cycling exist, this area is not very suited for biking because there are a good number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and this community has quite poor bicycling infrastructure. It is also very difficult for people walking to move around in Chaplin since most day-to-day needs are nearly impossible to carry out without a car.
