Transportation

Bedford Hills is an extraordinarily convenient part of Halifax for moving around by car. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways are very easy to reach from any home in this area. On the other hand, public transit riders may find few options in Bedford Hills due to the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally around the corner. It is impractical for people walking to navigate this neighbourhood because many daily needs are inconvenient to meet without a car. The bike is a rather limited method of transportation in this area because the cycling network is fairly poor, and bicycle riders are faced with a significant amount of slopes.

Services

Reaching the closest grocery store without a car is practical for some, but not all, property owners in this neighbourhood. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate close by restaurants.
