Masstown

The neighbourhood of Masstown is part of the subdivision of a county municipality of Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Truro metropolitan area.

Transportation

Masstown is especially car friendly. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 104, from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is very easy to park. It is very difficult for pedestrians to navigate Masstown because meeting daily needs is inconvenient on foot. Masstown is also not very appropriate for bicycling because the topography is not particularly flat, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed in Masstown to reach the nearest supermarket. There are also a few opportunities for those who care about close by restaurants and cafes. Regarding education, there are only a few primary schools in this neighbourhood and thus they can be a rather long walk away. Likewise, Masstown does not contain any high schools.

Character

Masstown is fairly good for those who enjoy quiet areas, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around Masstown Connection or Highway 104.
