Situated within the Greater Truro metropolitan area, Debert is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Debert is very car friendly. It is very convenient to park. Debert is not very conducive to biking since the area is not especially flat, and there are very few bike lanes. Traveling on foot is also not very practical for house buyers in Debert as most daily needs are nearly impossible to carry out without a car.

Services

Purchasing one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a vehicle in Debert. As far as education is concerned, there are only a very small number of primary schools in this part of the subdivision of a county municipality and accordingly they can be a very long stroll away. Additionally, Debert does not contain any high schools.
