Part of the Greater Truro metropolitan area, Barrachois is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extraordinarily good part of Colchester Subdivision B for moving around by car. It is very easy to find a place to park. This part of Colchester Subdivision B is not very well-suited for those who get around as pedestrians because most daily needs are very inconvenient to carry out without a car. Barrachois is also not very bike-friendly as the cycling network is quite bad, and the topography is not particularly flat.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Barrachois. Concerning eating, it is very hard to access the closest grocery store on foot in this area.
