Driving is an excellent transportation option in this community. It is very convenient to park. It is very challenging for pedestrians to navigate this part of Halifax since almost no daily errands can be run without the use of a car. The bicycle is a rather poor mode of transportation in this community as the bicycling network is quite bad, and travelling by bike is made difficult by the often hilly topography.

This community does not contain any high schools or primary schools. As far as eating is concerned, it is very rarely an option for house buyers in Upper Sackville to travel to the closest supermarket as pedestrians.

Upper Sackville is great for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Still, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to relax in, such as Weir Park.
