Part of the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Torrington is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is an extremely good part of Halifax for driving. It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this area, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, the transit service in Torrington is quite poor. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not very conducive to people who travel on foot because very few daily needs can be carried out without the need to use a vehicle. Torrington is also not especially appropriate for cycling since there are quite a few slopes, and there are few bike lanes.

Services
