Transportation

The car is usually the favoured method of transportation in this part of the municipality. Coming across a place to park is quite easy. Tantallon is not very suitable for people who like to travel by foot because running common errands is very challenging without a car. It is also at times difficult to commute by bicycle in this community as there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is quite poor.

A grocery store is generally accessible within an extended stroll from anywhere in this part of Halifax. Residents of this community can enjoy a few restaurants as well. With regards to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the municipality.
