Situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Murphy Cove is a community within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This community is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. It is very difficult for pedestrians to navigate this area because most daily needs are very inconvenient to meet without a car. This part of Halifax is also not very amenable to bicycling as there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists, and the cycling network is quite bad.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to do groceries. Regarding education, this part of Halifax does not have any high schools or primary schools.

Character

Murphy Cove is a fairly good community to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed environment. Most areas in Murphy Cove are quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
