Situated within the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Lakeview is a community in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Driving is a great mode of transportation in this part of Halifax. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be very hard in Lakeview due to the service's low frequency. This community is not very well-suited for those who like to travel on foot because very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. The bicycle is a rather limited method of transportation in Lakeview because there are a good number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and this part of the municipality has quite bad cycling infrastructure.

Services

Lakeview does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. Regarding eating, some, but not all, house buyers in Lakeview will live within a short distance of the nearest supermarket.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Lakeview. It is easy to get to parks since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in. It remains relatively quiet in this part of Halifax, since there are very few people out and about on the streets.
