The community of Lake Loon is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

The car is usually the best transportation option in Lake Loon. It is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. Lake Loon is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as running common errands is difficult by walking. The bike is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this part of Halifax because the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave.

Services
