Situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area, Green Village is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Walking is moderately practical for residents in this part of the municipality; many daily errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle. However, Green Village is not especially conducive to cycling since the bicycling network is sometimes poor, and there are a fair number of hills. Green Village is not especially transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, cars are a great means of transportation in Green Village. It is very easy to find a parking spot, and many homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway.

Likewise, it is convenient to reach the closest coffee shop as a pedestrian, and there are also a few restaurants in Green Village.
