The community of Prime Brook is part of the municipality of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Greater Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the municipality is especially car friendly. It is a short drive to the closest highway from any home in this community, and it is very easy to access a place to park. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very convenient for walking since meeting daily needs is impractical.

Services

In all but a few cases, a vehicle is required to purchase groceries. When it comes to education, families will welcome that no matter where their property is situated in this area, daycares are close by. On the other hand, Prime Brook does not have any primary schools or high schools.

Character

Prime Brook is good for those who enjoy quiet areas, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic. Reaching public green spaces is sometimes difficult within the community since they aren't well-distributed. Still, there are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in.
