The neighbourhood of East Mountain can be found in the subdivision of a county municipality of Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Truro metropolitan area.

Transportation

East Mountain is very car friendly. It is very easy to come across a parking spot, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway, such as Highway 104, from any location in this part of Colchester Subdivision B. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for house buyers in East Mountain because running daily errands is difficult on foot. The bike is a quite poor means of transportation in East Mountain as the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and the terrain is not particularly flat.

Services

Parents and their children will value the proximity to primary schools, which are within walking distance from most homes for sale in East Mountain. However, this area does not have any high schools.
