Debert

Situated within the Greater Truro metropolitan area, Debert is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent mode of transportation in Debert. It is especially convenient to find a place to park. It is very difficult for pedestrians to navigate Debert since running daily errands is very impractical by walking. This area is also not very bike-friendly since the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and the topography is not particularly flat.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in Debert and therefore they can be a very long walk away. Likewise, this area does not have any high schools. Regarding food, it is very rarely an option for house buyers in Debert to access the nearest supermarket by walking.

Character

Debert is quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although there are still several noisier areas, especially close to the airport (Debert Airport), the railway line or Highway 104.
