Upper North Sydney is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Upper North Sydney is very car friendly. The majority of properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very easy to park. Upper North Sydney is not very conducive to biking since the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are quite a few elevation changes. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to navigate this part of the municipality as many daily needs are difficult to carry out without the use of a vehicle.
