Situated within the Greater Cape Breton metropolitan area, Sydney Forks is a community within Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

This community is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very suitable for those who travel by foot because almost no common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle.

Services

A vehicle is almost always needed in Sydney Forks to reach the nearest grocery store. As far as education is concerned, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. Furthermore, daycares are not abundant and therefore not always within walking distance.

Character

Sydney Forks is very good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Public green spaces aren't well-situated, making it rather challenging to get to them from the majority of locations within the community. Still, there are a few parks nearby for residents to enjoy.
