The community of Scotchtown can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This community is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. This part of the municipality is not very bike-friendly since the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of elevation changes. It is also challenging for pedestrians to navigate Scotchtown because meeting daily needs is difficult without the use of a car.

Services

It is convenient to access the closest supermarket without a car in this part of the municipality. Additionally, a coffee shop is often just around the corner. As far as education is concerned, it is a rather short walk to get to both primary and secondary schools from most properties for sale in Scotchtown.
