The community of Scotch Lake can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This community is particularly car friendly. Parking is quite easy. Commuting by bicycle is very hard in this part of the municipality because the area is not very flat, and there are very few bike lanes. Traveling on foot is also not very practical for residents in this area because many daily needs are nearly impossible to meet without a car.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this area. In terms of eating, in all cases, a vehicle is needed to shop for groceries.
