The community of Port Caledonia is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in Port Caledonia. It is very easy to park. Most homes for sale in this community are located in places that are not very suitable for those who get around as pedestrians as carrying out daily needs is nearly impossible without a vehicle. Cycling is also difficult in this area because the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this community. With regards to eating, a vehicle is almost always needed in Port Caledonia to access the nearest supermarket.

Character

Port Caledonia offers a slower-paced environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces.
