Georges River is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is very easy in Georges River. It is very convenient to park. A majority of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very suitable for walking since almost no common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle. Georges River is also not very suited for cycling because cyclists are faced with a significant amount of elevation changes, and there are very few bike lanes.
