Frenchvale

The community of Frenchvale is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the best approach to move around in Frenchvale. It is very easy to park. It is very impractical for people walking to move around in this community as almost no common errands can be run without needing a car. It is also difficult to travel by bike in Frenchvale since the cycling infrastructure is quite poor, and the area is not very flat.

Services

This part of Cape Breton Municipality does not contain any high schools or primary schools. In terms of food, home buyers in Frenchvale almost always have to turn to a car to reach the closest grocery store.

Character

Frenchvale is an excellent community to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. The noise levels in this area are especially low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, although Frenchvale does not contain any parks, green spaces aren't well-situated in nearby communities, making them very easy to get to.

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing about 90% of dwellings in Frenchvale, and the rest are mainly mobile homes.
