Transportation

Commuting by car is very convenient in Dalem Lake. Parking is generally easy, and the street network is quite well suited for driving. Many of the houses for sale in this community are located in places that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot since almost no daily needs can be carried out without having to resort to a car. The bicycle is a quite bad means of transportation in Dalem Lake as there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of slopes. Nonetheless, some bike-friendly sectors can be found.

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Cape Breton Municipality. As far as eating is concerned, a car is almost always required in Dalem Lake to reach the nearest supermarket.

A highlight of Dalem Lake is its wide variety of green spaces. Parks are very well-distributed and there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore, resulting in them being very easy to reach from the majority of locations within the community. Since there are very few pedestrians, this area is relatively quiet.
