Big Beach

The community of Big Beach can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Big Beach is particularly car friendly. It is very easy to park. The bike is a quite poor mode of transportation in Big Beach as there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists, and there are very few bike lanes. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to navigate this community since almost no common errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

It is very rarely practical for home buyers in this part of the municipality to buy groceries by walking. With regards to education, this area does not contain any high schools or primary schools.

Character

The character of Big Beach is exemplified by its relaxed environment. This part of the municipality is very quiet, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
