The neighbourhood of The Pier is situated within the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a very good medium of transportation in The Pier. It is very easy to park. The bicycle is a fairly poor means of transportation in The Pier as the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are quite a few elevation changes.
