Transportation

North West Arm is especially car friendly. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway from any home in this part of Cape Breton Municipality, and it is very convenient to park. It is very challenging for pedestrians to get around in this area because almost no daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle. North West Arm is also not very suited for biking as the cycling network is not very extensive, and bicycling is rendered arduous by the typically steep area.
