New Victoria

New Victoria is a community within Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in New Victoria. Coming across a place to park is easy. New Victoria is not very suited for bicycling as this community is home to a quite poor cycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of slopes for cyclists to brave. It is also very impractical for pedestrians to move around in this part of Cape Breton Municipality as many daily needs are inconvenient to meet without the use of a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the municipality. Likewise, parents and their schoolchildren may consider it very difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian. As far as food is concerned, it is very rarely practical for property owners in this area to travel to the nearest supermarket on foot.

Character

The character of New Victoria is exemplified by its calm environment. This area is reasonably quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, it is very easy to get to parks in the community, since most homes have one very close by and there are about 10 public green spaces close by for residents to explore.
