Groves Point

The community of Groves Point is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great mode of transportation in this community. It is very convenient to come across a place to park. Groves Point is not very suited for cycling as the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad, and riding a bike is made difficult by the typically sloping topography. Many of the homes for sale in this community are located in places that are also not very conducive to those who travel by foot since running daily errands is very inconvenient.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Cape Breton Municipality. In addition, families may find it very hard to get to daycares on foot. With respect to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required in this community to reach the nearest supermarket.

There is a wide selection of green spaces in Groves Point. There are a few public green spaces close by for residents to explore, making them very easy to reach.
