East Bay

The community of East Bay can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured approach to move around in this area is usually driving. It is very easy to park. Commuting by bicycle is challenging in this area because there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and this part of the municipality is home to quite bad cycling infrastructure. East Bay is also not very conducive to pedestrians as almost no common errands can be run without needing a vehicle.

Services

This part of Cape Breton Municipality does not have any high schools or primary schools. In terms of eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to shop for groceries.

Character

East Bay is a fairly good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. Most areas in this part of Cape Breton Municipality are quiet, as the streets are reasonably tranquil. Finally, it is very easy to access green spaces in the community, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out and most properties for sale have a park within walking distance.
