The community of Beechmont is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured method to navigate Beechmont is usually a car. Finding a parking spot is quite easy. Getting around as a pedestrian is not very practical for home buyers in Beechmont because most daily needs are nearly impossible to meet without a vehicle. The bike is a rather limited mode of transportation in this community as there are a fair number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is quite poor.
