The community of Balls Creek can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great mode of transportation in Balls Creek. The majority of houses for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, and it is especially convenient to access a place to park. Biking is very difficult in Balls Creek because the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave.
