Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, Spruce Meadows is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

Spruce Meadows is very car friendly. Many houses for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, and it is very easy to park. In contrast, the public transit network in this area is not very practical. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. It is at times challenging for pedestrians to navigate Spruce Meadows as meeting day-to-day needs is sometimes difficult on foot. Spruce Meadows is also not particularly bicycling-friendly because there is a considerable amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.

It is straightforward to reach the closest supermarket on foot in this part of the city. Moreover, a coffee shop is often just around the corner, and residents of this area are served by a few restaurants as well. House buyers have access to a fair number of nearby clothing stores.
