Transportation

This neighbourhood is a fairly pleasant part of St. John's for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without a car. However, biking is sometimes difficult in this part of St. John's as riding is made arduous by the often sloping area, and the cycling infrastructure is not especially well-developed. Driving is a great transportation option in this area. It is especially convenient to access a place to park, and it is a short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this part of St. John's. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes.

Services

In this neighbourhood, parents and their kids will typically be able to access primary schools and daycares without a car. However, there are no high schools in Signal Hill - The Battery.
