Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, White Hills is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

The best approach to get around in White Hills is usually driving. Nearby highways are moderately easy to drive to from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. However, getting around by public transit is difficult in this area. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Biking is challenging in this area as there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is fairly poor. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very conducive to people who like to get around as pedestrians since carrying out day-to-day needs is challenging without a car.

Services

Getting to the nearest grocery store on foot is an option for some, but not all, property owners in this part of the city. Regarding education, primary schools are convenient to access as a pedestrian from most homes for sale in this neighbourhood. However, there are no high schools in White Hills.
