Part of the Greater Saint John metropolitan area, Island View is a neighbourhood within Saint John, New Brunswick.

Transportation

Driving is usually the best method to move around in this part of the city. Parking is easy, and many real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. However, the public transit service in Island View is not very frequent. Thankfully, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in this neighbourhood as running daily errands is inconvenient without a vehicle. Island View is also not very suited for cycling since the bicycling network is rather limited, and there is a considerable amount of elevation changes.
