Transportation

Lakewood is very car friendly. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. However, the public transit network in Lakewood is not very accessible. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. This part of Saint John is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot because running daily errands is impractical. On the other hand, bicycling is convenient in Lakewood.

Services

In Lakewood, parents and their children will typically be able to reach daycares and primary schools by walking. In contrast, there are no high schools in this part of the city.
