The neighbourhood of Brookville is part of the city of Saint John, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

Transportation

Brookville is an extremely good part of Saint John for getting around by car. Most properties for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, and parking is quite easy. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be very difficult in Brookville by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most houses are near a bus stop. This neighbourhood is not very convenient for walking as running common errands is challenging. Brookville is also not especially cycling-friendly because there is a considerable amount of elevation changes, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

Property owners in this neighbourhood almost always need a vehicle to reach the nearest supermarket. With respect to education, it is a reasonably short walk to get to primary schools from anywhere in Brookville. On the other hand, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools.

Character

Brookville offers an extensive selection of green spaces to enjoy. Although this part of Saint John is not home to any public green spaces, parks are scarce in nearby neighbourhoods, resulting in them being easy to get to from most locations within the neighbourhood. Lastly, this area is relatively serene, thanks to the presence of very few people out and about on the streets.
