Nethervue Place

Nethervue Place is a neighbourhood within Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Fredericton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in this part of the city. Parking is quite easy. However, the transit service in Nethervue Place is not very practical. It is very inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood because running daily errands is very impractical without the need for a vehicle. Nethervue Place is also not especially suited for biking because there is a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is not very comprehensive. Nonetheless, there is a moderately high density of cyclists.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to shop for groceries. When it comes to education, Nethervue Place does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, daycares are not numerous and therefore not always within a short distance.

Nearly 90% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while renters make up the remainder. Roughly 40% of properties in this part of the city were constructed following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were built in the 1960s and the 1980s.
