Part of the Greater Fredericton metropolitan area, Garden Place is a neighbourhood within Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in this area. Many properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, and finding a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, the public transit service in this part of Fredericton is not very frequent. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally around the corner. It is challenging for people travelling on foot to navigate this area as very few daily needs can be carried out without a vehicle. However, this part of the city is fairly amenable to bicycling.

Services

Garden Place does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, there are only a few daycares and therefore they can be a rather long distance away. In terms of food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to shop for groceries.

Character

Garden Place offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. Most areas in this part of the city are very quiet, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Lastly, although Garden Place does not contain any parks, public green spaces are especially well-spread out in nearby neighbourhoods, resulting in them being easy to reach from many locations in this neighbourhood.
