Transportation

The favoured approach to get around in Fredericton South is very often driving. It is especially convenient to park, and nearby highways are quite easy to access from anywhere in this neighbourhood. In contrast, the public transit system in this area is quite bad. It is challenging for pedestrians to get around in this neighbourhood because very few daily needs can be met by walking. In contrast, this part of Fredericton is appropriate for bicycling.

Services

This neighbourhood does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, daycares are not abundant and consequently tend to require a very long walk to get to. As far as food is concerned, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed to do groceries.

Character

The character of Fredericton South is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. This part of Fredericton is very good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
