Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in South Pointe West. The city block layout is reasonably appropriate for cars, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, this part of the city is not a very pleasant part of Winnipeg for getting around by public transit. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not especially far-removed from most residences. Despite the fact that it is a flat ride to most destinations, this part of Winnipeg is not very conducive to cycling as the bicycling infrastructure is quite bad. Walking is also not very feasible for property owners in South Pointe West since very few daily needs can be met on foot.
